Tim Richards is our associate attorney. He graduated from University of Washington School of Law in 2011 and has practiced family law exclusively since 2016. Prior experience in immigration law, landlord-tenant, public benefits, and child welfare adds to his perspective.
For five years prior to joining the firm in 2021, Tim worked in civil legal aid at the Eastside Legal Assistance Program (ELAP), representing domestic violence survivors and victims through the DV agency DAWN. He retains a reputation in the community for his skill set and vision in such cases..
More than anything in his work, Tim wants his clients to be heard and understood – which starts with the attorney-client relationship and his own active listening and engaged presence. He volunteers with ELAP’s family law clinics and in the community around the issues of immigration and houselessness.
