Founding Member, Sakaguchi Felbeck Story & Reese, PLLC
Bellevue, Washington, United States
Mary S.W. Sakaguchi is a founding member of Sakaguchi Felbeck Story & Reese, where her practice is primarily focused on Family Law and Real Estate law. She started her practice as a solo practitioner in 2011, after several years as an associate attorney with Davidson, Czeisler & Kilpatric, PS (now Davidson, Kilpatric and Krislock, PS), where she practiced Family law and Real Estate and supported a bustling escrow practice.
Mary has served as Trustee with King County Bar Association, us a Director with Eastside Legal Assistance Program, and a Trustee and Treasurer for Collaborative Practitioners of Washington. Mary is a regular volunteer with Eastside Legal Assistance Program and King County Superior Court Volunteer Settlement Conference Program. Mary was a key member of the lobbying effort to enact the Uniform Collaborative Law Act (now RCW 7.77). Mary comes from Southern California, where she graduated from Loyola Law School Los Angeles and practiced Family Law until she relocated to Washington in 2006.
Mary approaches her practice in assisting clients primarily through dispute resolution options such as mediation, negotiated settlements, and Collaborative Law. Mary’s experience as a litigator has led to her belief that clients are best served in pursuing interest-based resolutions that allow them greater input and ownership in reaching a durable settlement.
